DiaSys Corporation (AMEX:DYX) a global healthcare products company, announced today that the Venezuelan Social Security Administration awarded its distributor, Repreclin Lab, $2.7 million over the next three years to purchase DiaSys' fully integrated parasitology workstations and consumable products. Repreclin Lab, which was founded in 1988, also represents Instrumentation Laboratory and Beckman Coulter.

"The award is the largest in the history of the Company. It validates DiaSys' new sales strategy in Latin America. The Company's development of the fully integrated parasitolgy system was completed in the first calendar quarter of this year and has now begun to show meaningful results. It is the only system of it's kind and is without competition. We look forward to the continued roll out of the product line throughout Latin America this year as we position for sales initiatives into rest of the world markets," said Gregory Witchel, Chief Executive Officer.
